We are pleased to receive several Neurosciences-linked companies for the first time in PhD Days

Ironova

IRONOVA is currently developing a connected wristband allowing transmission of player's emotionnal state to video games.

A unique and powerful device that radically redefines the video game industry.
It brings crucial, major and missing data to video games developers …
Emotionnal data !

We will transpose the player’s feeling into the game, allowing the player and Artificial Intelligence to share and exchange informations for an never equaled immersion until now in video games.

The game will completely feel player’s emotions in real time. All the gameplay could be modified for a totally personalized and unique experience. Ankkoro® will break the codes with a deep-self sensorial dive.

The wristband not only receives informations, it can also send it in order to communicate with the wearer. It brings a haptic feedback with vibrations emitted by a buzzer. It can also communicate information via RGB led. Thanks to this technology, Ankkoro® will be able to adapt the user’s experience according to his emotions by adding vibrations and lights to enrich the immersion level.

Ankkoro may be assimilated to a second skin by the wearer. The hardest, once on the wrist, will be to get it off…

Spine

SPINE is a citizen science game to crowdsource the analysis of MRI brain images and accelerate clinical research in neuroscience. As clinical research on neurodegenerative disorders (multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer disease...) requires large MRI scans sets to be manually processed to obtain measurements, we want to involve the public in the analysis and support researches while we make them more aware of the world of science and make acquiring and applying scientific skills fun.

SPINE results from an international collaboration between the Center for Neurological Imaging led by Pr. Charles Guttmann (Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School), and LabEx TRAIL at the University of Bordeaux, supported by the Excellence Initiative of the University of Bordeaux. It is sponsored by Talan.
